
The Psychological Therapy Service (PTS) offers psychological therapies to people who are experiencing difficulties that affect their day to day quality of life and their mood. These problems might include depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, relationship problems and psychosis.

We work with people who are between 18 and 65 years of age.
All therapists in the service are trained and accredited. We employ psychotherapists, highly experienced counsellors and clinical psychologists. As a teaching Trust we are also responsible for providing placements for therapists in training. You may be offered an appointment with a mental health professional in training who is supervised by a senior member of staff.

Getting Involved
From time to time, we offer voluntary work experience placements within the service.
These are open to individuals aged 18 years or over and usually undertaking an undergraduate course in Psychology or a related discipline.
