The Forensic Service provides inpatient and community-based mental health support to people who who have mental health issues and are in, or have been through, the criminal justice system.
The service bridges the gap between high and medium secure care and generic mental health services and community care.
This is an 11-bedded service for males aged 18 or over, closely linked with the Criminal Justice System and the Community Forensic Team to provide short-term assessment and treatment.
An 11-bedded unit which links closely with the assessment and treatment service, and external providers who offer Leeds patients care in levels of higher security, and work closely with the Community Forensic Team to move to community placements as soon as practicable.
A 9-bedded unit, which delivers gender sensitive Women’s Services to those females aged 18 and over.
A 5-bedded unit, which delivers a specialist low secure forensic rehabilitation service for men aged 18 and over who have a mild learning disability (IQ 60-70 +/-5).
Services provided for people who are aged 18 or over and resident in Leeds.
A community based facility, providing high standard accommodation for eight male service users aged 18 and over, living in a residential area.
Provides secondary mental health services on an in-reach basis to Leeds prison population. Services are delivered by a multi-disciplinary Mental Health In-Reach Team.
Recovery and discovery workers are established for a recovery focused approach to promote a positive image of recovery and being in work.
