Improvements and latest news:

We are looking to improve the way we work with carers of those who've accessed mental health services at our Trust.

Read a blog from project leaders Dr Louise Bergin and Stephen Taylor updating on the project following the first meeting in April 2016.

We are working to adopt an approach called the Triangle of Care. This is something that was launched in 2011 by the Carers' Trust (formerly The Princess Royal Trust for Carers) and the National Mental Health Development Unit. The Triangle of Care emphasizes the need for better local involvement of carers and families in the care planning and treatment of people with mental ill-health.

You can read more and watch an introductory video about the Triangle of Care here.

We're joining with Carers Leeds, a local charitable organisation that supports unpaid carers. We want to know what you think works well, what could be improved and to discuss ways that you can get involved in bringing about positive changes in the way we work with carers and families.
